Stopped off first north of Dumfries, popped over to Arran for a few days, then over to Islay for 6 days, taking in Jura and stopped off at Luss (1/2 way up Loch Lomond) before returning back home. We managed to find ourselves in the middle of the Islay whisky festival (accident, honest..), so a few bottles of whisky made the journey south.
Sounds like a great trip and the Whisky Fest must have been a real bonus !
Not been out west this year but next year Islay is on the cards for sure !
