As for the seal, the shoulders of the seal didn't stand proud of the piston, so I didn't mess with it, it just went straight in.

Also managed to get a full size Ox spring in the old Original 50, it's like a Bull Worker (showing my age here) to cock, but doesn't even manage 7 ft/lbs maybe it would do more if the spring was shorter ? The preload tension on it is terrifying tbh

Had a look at why I can't zero the diopter, and it was glaringly obvious, the front sight is about 10mm too short as the viewing hole in the diopter is a lot higher on the back of the chamber than the standard open sights.


On another note, I'm thinking the more rain we have now the better the odds of a sunny bash surely ?
