Summer bash 2024 3rd and 4th August

Was after some Hobbys on Mikes advice for the HW45 to bring to the Bash, I doubt that I'll get to the range before then (which I was hoping to do), as I've got two radiators to plumb in this afternoon

I wonder if it's also worth trying Leicestershire Airguns. I think he's a friend of Neil's and often visits The Bash on the Sunday.....if he has them, that could be your gunshop trip from The Bash? Or, if Neil doesn't mind, he might be able to have them there for you, if he was going to the shop in the meantime?

I wonder if there's a temporary supply issue with quite a few shops being out of stock, or if they're just awaiting a new batch?

I have a strange bit of chronograph testing to do
I have a couple of new radio controlled tanks in the collection
I was trying the Challenger 2 out this morning
Bloody hell the BBs fly out of that. I wouldn't want to get in the way of one
Painting it up and building the missing armour etc will keep me busy in winter

Have you got any particular missions in mind for them, Pete? Sounds like they're going to be fun.

Yes, I can remove the Brummy Longbow from my "active" wanted list for good periods, but every time I hear one mentioned or see one, I crave one again. Lovely rifles.

That could well be worth a trip to. I can see they do sell pellets from the pics but they don't seem to have them on the website

The Longbow is a lovely rifle
The only negative is the shallow dovetails which restricts the choice of scopes

I've just asked in my local RFD to see if i can grab a tin for you but they're out too. Over the weekend a few of us often pop to Solware gun shop if you fancy it. They're bound to have some Hobbies in there.

I've only got them in .177 otherwise I'd send some along, anything changes though and I'll let you know as I watch for cheap tins to try.
