Neil,
Idle hands got the better of me and I started picking apart the cheapo Chinese pistol wreck you gave me last weekend. Well, as you said, someone had 'modified' the trigger sear - some people should be allowed near grinding wheels. On a positive, there were enough serviceable bit to carry across to the other wrecked pistol (from the May bash) and get it going again (I think). So, worry not boingeratti, there'll hopefully be three hand cannons available to dent a few tin cans soon...
I can't make it, imprompatu Birthday trip cost more than expected so cant manage accomadation or Transport and an avalible lift is very unlikely either.

Judging by the way the cans reacted with the girly cal (177) straight through and hardly a wobble.
I think a sturdy .22 cal pistol would definitely knock the tins off the perch. As evidenced by Mike and his .22 hw45.
My bsa Scorpion and Diana P5 Magnum in .22 will accompany me at the May bash.
Les..
I am tempted to treat myself to a pistol seeing that target

It really made bringing a pistol or two worth while. Really great target.
Both my HW 45 & Crosman 2240 (both .22) had no problem knocking the cans down, well until the 45 broke
Going to try an old Original model 6 and a Beeman P17 next, both .177 & less powerful than the two mentioned above.
I have found a 2nd hand Gat
That takes me back a few years
