I think a sturdy .22 cal pistol would definitely knock the tins off the perch. As evidenced by Mike and his .22 hw45.
My bsa Scorpion and Diana P5 Magnum in .22 will accompany me at the May bash.
    Les..
Les, when I did hit the cans with these Chinese pistols the pellets bounced off with hardly a wobble! Mind you 1.5ft/lbs in .177" cal .....

But, great target Les, nice one.

Yeah you was making contact for sure 👍.
I would like to make a mini running boar type target, with two piggies spaced apart.
A battery pack and small motor and a cycle chain with cogs need to be found.
I can feel a plan coming up..

Annoyingly I think my spares got binned otherwise I'd have a few different Teeth options I could send that could also let you change speed/difficulty, a used electric assist push bike would probably give you everything you need if you can find one, some mobility scooters may be of use too or be used to go belt drive instead.

A 45 in .22 is definitely the way to go Les. That was a cracking resettable target you made there Les. Really enjoyed the can blasting!!!

On a positive, there were enough serviceable bit to carry across to the other wrecked pistol (from the May bash) and get it going again (I think). So, worry not boingeratti, there'll hopefully be three hand cannons available to dent a few tin cans soon...
Excellent. Looks like my 2240s might have to come for a play. One standard and one "mini-carbine" with red dot. Nice and hard hitting with the Crosman wadcutters.

    Do it, Pete.

2240s are great value, good fun and a cracking piece of kit.

I think NM still have some of the Turkish made Tempests on a clearance sale offer of £100.

Both my HW 45 & Crosman 2240 (both .22) had no problem knocking the cans down, well until the 45 broke

Going to try an old Original model 6 and a Beeman P17 next, both .177 & less powerful than the two mentioned above.
Shocking to hear on Sunday about the '45 breaking. Hope you can get it sorted economically soon.

Sounds like an awesome idea, Les. If anyone can do it, you can, and we know it'll be a belter.
