If I can get down I promise I'll bring the 50s Anniversary & that lovely Diana 34 I bought from Melv. I REALLY like that rifle!
Fingers crossed for you being able to join us again, Paul. As well as seeing you (the main thing), yes, it would be great to see one of the Avviversary Weihrauchs in the flesh. And that Diana really is a most lovely thing.

I had to go to Pickering again today, and this time I was doing really well for time, plus there was a free parking space I cracked & parked up. I walked round the corner only to find they are shut Wednesday afternoons Mind you I couldn't work out how to sneak it into the house seeing as I'd have had to pop home with it during work hours, I certainly couldn't rock up at work with it !

Not sure if I'm going to get done for speeding today, had the speed limiter on all day bar one small stretch of 40 mph dual carriageway, and bugger me there was a camera van on it both lanes were busy & I'm not sure they can pick individual vehicles out when there is a bunch very close together.* praying emoji here *
Ooohhh....that's the gods testing you now, with the shop being closed.....I bet you were close to giving in, weren't you!? Now's the real test, with the opportunity removed yesterday.....will you / won't you??

I hope those parts arrive allowing you to get that job finished.

And fingers crossed for you for no ticket.

Yep, I'd had a look yesterday morning also on the BBC / Met Office one, with similar findings. We're a bit too far away for a really accurate picture though (I'd always heard it said that accuracy for any predictions was better within five days). So fingers crossed for zero rain Saturday, the main day......On Tuesdsy around here the forecast thing said 0% chance of rain until 8.00pm, when it rose to 17%. By 5.00pm it was peeing it down! So,not always correct, even with two hours to go!

Be great to see you again.

Would you mind bringing a Khamsin along if possible, please?

Cheers Tony, looks like the driver I've been standing in for is coming back to work so no return to Pickering on work time anytime soon.

On top of that another curve ball has been thrown, the wifes father is in hospital, he's 90. She only found out last night just before I went to bed. No idea what's wrong with him yet either.

Looks like I'm double booked with the joist job & taking the wife down to Nottingham this weekend, so Pickering is completely out of the question.

Had another butchers at the BBC weather thing & the chance of rain at the bash seems to be diminishing

Paid for the Saturday Neil, looks pretty certain, but with just one nasty hanging around as a possible disrupter.
