All camping gear etc gathered and ready to go in the car this morning. Probably set off around midday so should arrive around 2:30 -3:00pm. Going north, I’m hoping to be driving away from the wet weather here.

Let’s hope the Midlands is dry then mate. Hopefully get pitched up whilst dry. We’ve got weather warnings for heavy rain down here for a couple of days so I’ll be glad to be leaving that behind.
Have a safe and smooth journey.

Weather in central Scotland is gorgeous, blue skies and bright sunshine and will be for the next four days !

Totally irrelevant in Spring Bash terms

Was just looking at the national weather and was thinking it’s pretty rare for someone from up your way to be leaving the sun behind when travelling south. Currently forecast as cloudy for the Midlands today.

Certainly is Paul but we've had a shed load of rain over the last week.
Temps are forecast to reach mid twenties in the Highlands over weekend which does happen now and again !

I'm leaving for Sheffield shortly, staying over at the In-Laws then hoping to hit "Bash Country" mid morning tomorrow.
    See you there !

Wow! Another Weihrauch! Ooo-er, missus; what's that, then? Or are you going to surprise us on the day? Can't wait to see it.
I was going to say nowt & surprise you, but some clues will make it obvious, I think...

Tinbum thinks they're the best looking springer ever.
I think it's one of HW's best 'game changing' rifles.

    Rain has stopped.
Field is of course very wet in the grass.
I have taken shelter elsewhere ( pub).

Things can only get better! 🎶

Not round here. Drizzle and an unwelcome wind.
Will bring a few more cans tomorrow.
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.
