Even the miserable morning mizzle couldn't take away the pleasure of being with the knowledgeable, generous and welcoming gentlemen (no ladies at this one) of the bash, thank you all for your company. I thought I would never want another gun but there were a couple of 80s there today which made me think that perhaps I do!
A big thank you to Neil for all the work which goes toward making it look simple.

Another great Bash, thanks again to Neil and of course the early Bashers who help with the layout etc.
One sour note for me though, I’ve left a MK II Airsporter on the left hand bench looking up the at the targets, I’m hoping some kind and honest person, though I think all the Bash attendees are honest, has picked it up and are keeping it safe for me. It is in a camouflaged carry bag.

    Thanks again Neil.

Light rain here at the moment but will hopefully clear.
Pretty much as I guessed with the pellets then.

Well, from Saturday enjoying the better forecast and the Sunday looking very wet, it was certainly a bit soggy at times today AND the forecast is now actually looking much better for tomorrow!

Thanks very much for another super bash Neil.
Lovely to see you again, Tom. Don't you be thinking too deeply about that Airsporter. I think it shoots quite nicely. Just get those basics done re movement on the stock bracket and de-twang if you must, but otherwise I'd be leaving alone.

Great to see you again, Gary (albeit far too briefly). That Cometa's accurate for sure and will make a nice rifle.

Plenty of shooting and some awesome rifles at both ends of the 'cost' scale, especially gas ram wise- thanks to Tony for a go with his mega value Mauser and to Ray with that bloody gorgeous SLR.

Always great to see everyone & thank you again to Neil for putting the show on.

    All the best
    Another Paul
Great that you managed to get, Paul.

The Anniversary 99, as expected, was utterly sublime.

The 35 Export is beautiful and shoots fantastically well. Graceful and classy. And serving to rubber stamp that quote I often make about these fantastic rifles, originally launched over 70 years ago, showing younger, more modern rifles how it should be done. The tune is beautiful and you must keep that forever.

And that 34 is just as lovely as I remember.

Thank you for coming, Ray; it was lovely to see you again.

And thank you for letting me have a go with so many of your lovely rifles......the 99 is simply stunning and shoots fantastically. Lovely to be re-acquainted with the graceful Khamsin. And so many more of your lovely toys. That PCP is like a laser-guided missile!

Lovely to meet John (again?). What a lovely chap. And the smile on his face once he'd hit the bucket was a joy to witness.
