    Even you Ray
Pete, what model of Luepold scope was that on one of your air rifles, the one with the excellent reticule ?
You told me but I've forgotten but I remember you mentioned the word "Rimfire" !

    Regards,

    John.

PS. Shame we missed out on the Pork Pies !

That’s me home. Had a great few days as ever and always look forward to spending time with all the genuine fine folk that attend. Can’t believe I brought home an empty pellet tin with me this time
Thanks again Neil & Tina for organising and setting up another Bash. Long wait now until next one but looking forward already.

    Leupold

    Would it be -
    Leupold® VX®-Freedom® 2-7x33mm Rimfire MOA Reticle

Great scopes even for an air rifle. Had one and sold it.

Hey Paul, did you and Dave have an Early Morning Swim around the field today ?

I'd love to find another John but you don't see them come up for sale second hand these days.

Well, that was bloody brilliant Huge thank you to Neil & Tina, and a special thanks to Tony for keeping this thread going & building it up.

Only had one tin of beer left this morning, I couldn't open it because the ring pull bust

Very rare to find such a great bunch of people, if you haven't been you have no idea what you are missing !

I now need to find & .177 Longbow, three shots out of three on the bucket yet I couldn't hit it once all weekend with any of my own rifles

It does sound like a meet up at the Doncaster range is very do-able, it's indoors so ideal for over the winter months and it's close to the motorway. I was initially thinking just a Saturday afternoon thing but maybe an all day bash with a meal & a few pints after with a stop over at Premier Inn (or somewhere similar,) might be even better esp for anyone fancying a day shooting with the Boingerati from further afield .

    Bash

I can only echo what members above have said. It's not a click it's a group of people enjoying their hobby to the full. If you've never been, then pop along, try the wonderful guns available and scopes and enjoy the chat and banter that's available. You are not judged just turn up with what you have and enjoy. I tried some wonderful rifles yesterday but the BSA Meteor made my day yesterday as it was the first gun my dad brought me when I was 10..brought back some happy memories.

    Perfectly put, mate.
I know of a few rifles that have appeared at the bash over the years, that would do as a decent deposit on a house - but the budget and vintage offerings are always the stuff that impress and interest me the most.
I'm already on the countdown to May 25.
Put on heading 270, assume attack formation

It certainly chucked it down this morning John, pelting down on my tent at 6am. Neil did his usual though and sorted the clouds out and brought us a very warm and sunny late morning and afternoon. It was glorious weather as I left around 14:00. Been flippin’ raining since I got home

    "The ring pull bust"

That Longbow of Pete's is a cracker, although I hit the bucket (only once, mind) with my .22 version. He was pinging it consistently. I had more success with my 35e but to be honest I was just glad to find I could actually do it. That surprise from you when you first hit it was brilliant though mate.

Definitely up for a Donny 'bash' if it can be sorted. Are Premier Inn ready for an invasion of Boingers?
