I think if I had that much money I'd set up a new Air rifle manufacturing company, headhunt the best springer engineers & make the break barrel everyone thinks Air Arms should make, with a really good stock .

Then sit back & watch everyone argue about it & waste money trying to improve it

I'll struggle to do many Saturdays as it's our busiest day. When I asked the manager about taking the Saturday off for this one, he was really good about it. But I wouldn't want to start taking the pee and asking for too many Saturdays off, especially with being the "new boy". All the team are really good, too, so I wouldn't want to disrupt anything there.

If I can squeeze a visit or two in occasionally, great. But they'd be mostly mid week.

This wouldn't stop you peeps sorting something though, so fill yer boots if you can!

I need to find out how many days leave I have left, probably a couple of weeks because they let you have a week off unpaid over summer where I work, which I always take. So, I might have a week before Christmas, if so an afternoon at Donny would be very nice.

That could work out with the other Paul from Driff too if I pick the right week

Having said that, much depends on whether I'm able to get before this meet, as I have the HW97K Synthetic Thumbhole that I got a few months ago that would also benefit from some indoor range time / pellet testing / fine zeroing.

I was thinking early in the week, one of the days you don't work Tony. I'm going to need a week to get this fireplace reduced / cupboard feature DIY monster job done that I started, weekends are hopeless for big jobs when there are other chores like the garden & shopping that also have to be done.

Ooh, nice, I'd like to compare that to my old Mk1 97 k.

The 97k is the only rifle I've got that works properly, doesn't twang and is accurate atm, and that includes both my PCPs

Probably should bring the 2240 too to meet the Ratty, I'll have to put the original hammer spring back in though, I changed it to drop the power & over did it.
