There are more people stopping for the meal than are stopping at the Premier Inn but I've lost track of exactly who.

For me - stopping - no. Meal - yes.

Thank you for the invite. I will have to see what is going on nearer the time.

I will be in France for the May meet but my other pastime is getting out on my Harley so maybe booked up.

I don't camp so it would more than likely be one of the two days of a weekend but I would certainly like to get along if I can.

I rarely camp but regularly use the Premier Inn at Melton Mowbray

I've started a new thread for the evening meal & drinks so it's clear & nothing gets lost in the chat on here. I'll add attendees to the opening post.

No problem at all, sir. You can decide at the last minute, so no need to have to try and plan a long way in advance.

Very envious of your trip to France, I have a very large soft spot for France.

I think there are quite a few of us that also have bikes One day at the bash isn't unusual, quite a few do that, it's nice long days in may for it too.

Going on a bike makes it an adventure not a mere trip, Port Grimaud looks wonderful, they have full sun & 13-14°c atm, should be fantastic come may, not too hot either

The Millau viaduct would be awesome on a bike but I bet you are going down a route further over to the east ?

Not sure if this has been covered before in the thread, has anyone started a sales thread for the meet or the possibility of a sales table if its allowed.

We will be taking a reasonably direct route from the tunnel but haven't planned anything yet.

Back in the 80s I made many trips on my bike and latterly two in my X358 (the only thing that could compare to my GPz 900) Touring through France is an adventure. Try to visit a winery if only to buy a few bottles.

Going from the heat outside into 'Les caves' is amazing.
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.
