There is some sort of a heater there, Neil, but as it's such a huge old (Victorian?) Mill building with a very high roof, you'll need to be close to the heater to feel the warmth.

Having said that, as Andy says, it will be a fair bit milder, so that will help. Better to be prepared, though.

Definitely. I had considered wearing lined motorcycle trousers (with the pads removed) for the extra thickness, but I think the stairs would kill me

Thick socks & a warm hat are also on the list.

Yep, they're very light - easy to handle and very portable. Like a "matured" Meteor. They can effortlessly make the power, though, and the internals are much nicer than the Meteor. Have fun.
I get everything delivered to work if it's bigger than a slim jiffy bag. Keeps my purchases "unscrutinized", plus all the delivery drivers know my work place because they are all there every day.

The box the supersport came in was a Wiehrauch box, for a few minutes I was very paranoid until I realised that if they couldn't read my name in large felt tip capital letters, they probably didn't notice the other words ( I'm not sure they would be that happy if they knew what regularly turns up in those long boxes )

I had read a lot of good things about the Supersport, it was on my "list" It also helps when the person selling the rifle knows their onions.

Still undecided on what to bring to Donny, it will be the 35e and now possibly the Supersport because I've not had the chance to shoot either of them, & while I haven't shot the Sirocco in it's .22 form, it's a heavy bugger.

Some scope swapping is going to have to happen.

Warm, cuddly clothes definitely required, Paul.

At least the temperatures next week will be so much kinder to us (I wonder what it's been like down there this week?) and the company, banter, snacks and hot drinks will keep us going nicely.

Good plan re having those parcels delivered to work, Paul.

Just think, if that HW box contained a 99......

Looking forward to seeing your 35E. And the Supersport will be nice and light for hoiking up the stairs.

Yay! Only two mornings of scraping the ice off the car to go (today looks a bit grim, though, with fog also in the morning and temperatures struggling to get over zero by lunchtime), but the BBC Weather app thingy is making it look like we might get double figure temps next Saturday!

The ice is even worse this morning, how is that possible ! It looks like snow it's that thick. I start my car & put the de-mist / de-ice & heated seat on for at least 10 minutes before I go to work, there is a little key in the remote that I use to lock the door, leaving the remote in the car. The heated seat & heated windscreen were some of the main reasons I bought it, icing mornings & vehicles being one of my least favourite things.

I chronoed the supersport last night, it's doing 14.5 J on superdomes, & it feels very smooth so it's coming to Donny, with the 4-16 x44 scope off the 510. It's got a relatively short chamber & short rails so there wasn't a lot of choice.

He's already coming, Paul. I think he's asking for other people.

The Supersport is sounding good, Paul. Good point re cylinder and rail length. I think a big scope would look daft anyway. They can shoot very nicely....mine has some of Tinner's finest delrin in and is very smooth and refined. Must have a play with that trigger!
