Yep, Joel is certainly a big fan of The Boinger now. It might be slightly tricky getting him to a Bash, though, as we can't have many of us off on a weekend......we'll see, though!

Yep, I'm a big fan of the big Vs.....there's a 900SS in the garage. Getting that back on the road one day would need my vision issues and bank balance to be in better shape, though.....

July Bash a distinct possibility this year as May and September are "no-go" due to a holiday and my Daughters Birthday Do !

Hope to make at least two nightly stay-overs !

Yep, by the sounds of it, a fair few people wear those heated jackets up there, Paul. Don't get me wrong, it was nowhere near as cold as it was in January, but you were still feeling it, especially towards the end of the session.

Could do with a few months of no nasty financial surprises to help the old bank balance along....

Not happy with the HW 100 I got, it's way under power, yet another problem rifle Was hard to judge in the wind & rain on Sunday, but now chrono says it's crap.

Mmmmm.......sorry to hear that, Paul. You're not having a lot of luck of late are you? Would the vendor be happy to put it right (was it a commission sale or did the range take it into stock?) or do a refund? Or would you have it looked at elsewhere? Really hope you get a satisfactory outcome here.

Had a word with a chap I know, it could be something simple, it's obviously been stripped before. If it's not something simple it's going back as lovely as it is. The weather was that bad on Sunday it was hard to get the measure of the rifle.

Fingers and toes crossed that Neil can sort it.

I'm thinking it's the hammer spring, the hammers movement is slow & weak looking. Certainly not the kind of sharp tap you expect.



How does that blues thing go ? If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

I've never worked on one, Paul. Guessing access to the hammer spring will be easy, though. Will you be sorting it yourself or asking the seller to sort it?

Your luck's got to turn soon. Hopefully this will be a quick, painless fix and you can then get to enjoy it properly and exploit that easy to access accuracy. And then get that naughty '35 sorted.
