Brand New - Old Benjamin 132 pistol

I won this Benjamin 132 pistol. It looks so new it's hard to believe its 50 years old.

The condition is incredible to me. I do not collect Benjamins but it was too nice to pass up for $100.

    Sheridan Blue Streak fear

Bought two pump airguns, the Benjamin 132 and a 1975 Sheridan both look new. I am worried mounting peep sights or a scope could separate the solder on the barrel to the pump tube. I read some people have damaged the solder joint holding the barrel on, when removing the clip-on factory sights. My only Sheridan rifle has the clip-on rear sights.

Because the rifle is so pristine, should I look for an well worn Sheridan rifle to used as a shooter?
