Absolutely, 100%. I've said it so many times and it was a true landmark and critically pivotal rifle.

Nice one, Les. One of mine is very similar......an abused one given to me in 2009. Full length in .22. V-Mach kit fitted in early 2010 together with replacement underlever catch, also from Steve. This rifle wears the thumbhole synthetic 97 stock that some of The Boingerati bought me in 2014. Even with my dodgy eyesight, wearing a basic non-AO Hawke 4x32 it happily shoots 7mm edge-to-edge groups at the Doncaster Indoor Range at 25 yards. Love it.
