It is wonderful to have the BBS as a platform where we can chat on-line, learn stuff, pass on knowledge, share tips, have banter etc. And I'm truly grateful and appreciative of this. But being able to physically meet some of the many and varied characters and seeing how they look, sound and go about their boingery business really does add another dimension to it. Wonderful.

We do have a lovely community spirit on the forum, but this is greatly fortified once you meet in real life. And make proper, forever friends. People who are there for you and you can trust. And people you can help.
