Have a Tyrolean Venom one from what was left over from the old Venom TDR batches, Just wish it had the changeable barrels that was applied to the TDR, The Webley excel is still a nice little rifle. Col.

They vary. Some shoot quite well with several pellets while others are picky.
Superdomes have been the solution in some of mine that dont like the usual JSBs or H&N.
    Too many airguns!

With Jim Maccaris Webley kit you get a VERY nice shotcycle from the Vulcan/Excel:

Once I've found the right pellet for the gun, this kit, combined with a parachute piston seal, makes the Vulcan family perform very well.

Oh, one thing: you may have to do some work on the forks if they have been abused. Other than that, durable and very well made guns.
    Too many airguns!
