But if you sprinkle the blood of a Virginia rabbit shot with a Lincoln Jefferies at midnight on a shrove Tuesday that falls on an even date on your pellets....

It was the magic bit I was alluding to, the sight seemed to glue it's self to the target then the pellet seemed like it was guided to the bucket like a heat seeking missile

Seriously it's just a balanced set up
I spent 400 quid on the scope because I thought the gun needed something very light
It's non AO to keep the diameter of the objective down and allow it to be as close to the barrel as possible (5mm)
I couldn't find lower mounts, if I could have I would have got the 32mm version
Fortunately it all turned out just as I wanted it to

I didn't shoot it this time around, but that Longbow is very, very nice.

    400 quid scope

It did seem VERY clear, I wish I'd paid the scope more attention !

My next door neighbours have got a bouncy castle they get out at weekends for the grandkids, that scene goes through my head every time I hear the pump blowing it up.

Or more specifically the phrase "it's a massive c*** and balls" in Peter Kays voice

Thank you all for your kind words and support.
I left the targets and small gazebo out until later. Tina was on her way back and we had a plink together. She really likes her S400.
Everything is home but the van is still full. Its been raining every time I go to put stuff away.

I've never seen them. Must search them out. I like Peter Kay. Mrs L doesn't watch anything remotely funny () so wouldn't like, so I'll be viewing when she's not around.

No, thank YOU and Tina once again, Neil.

The effort and planning you pour into making these events is noted and very much appreciated by all.

Hope you got the boat thing sorted.

It was great that the weather really improved on the Sunday, dishing up those lovely conditions and allowing you both to have a relaxing and therapeutic plink later. Great to hear that she really likes the 400.
