No I've not come across that before, but then again my experience is limited to my AA510, which doesn't have an adjustable hammer spring. The hammer on the HW100 still has the anti tamper in place, so I thought leaving that at the factory setting would make sorting the power a less complicated fix. There is a split second hiss of air after a shot, I'm now wondering if it's air being lost or just the plenum regaining pressure.

That's exactly what I thought & it's the only reason it's not in the bin

Had ten minutes on the 100 last night, power is now set at 11.5, there is an 8 FPS fluctuation on shots but that's nothing compared to what it was & I don't do competitions so it'll do. Gauge is showing 75 at that power level it should be @93

That only leaves 2 rifles needing sorting & they are both PCP so meh

Cheers, Paul. Yep, I'm hoping to dig the Rekord out this week, lube and adjust as required and fit it. Pop the scope on and all should be lovely.

Great to hear you're getting somewhere with the '100. I see you're getting expert steerage from Jon, so it won't be long now until you get it spot on.

What did your other PCP need?

And is the '35 all to your liking now?

You’ve got to be congratulated Tone for starting up that faithful old sleepyometer so early, it was well into three figures this time from the start and it hasn’t missed a beat !!!

Thanks, Pauly. The Sleepometer is now about on its 28th revision and these little tweaks have really helped with the reliability of the instrument. Not too bad for old, analogue technology, with all those springs and cogs clicking and whirring away, eh? And I enjoy doing it, filling the "timekeeper" role.

How are you feeling now LittleBruv? Soreness and pain subsiding a little or is it too early for that?

Weather looks to be nice and warm over the coming few days. Plinky times on that outdoor range of yours would be good fun and excellent therapy if EvenLittlerBruv can oblige and you're up to it?

I am doing exceptionally well Tone. In fact it’s hard to believe how well. Yesterday (10 days after op) I was down the bottom of the garden, on my knees repairing the chicken wire on the fence where a badger had got in, I then dug and sieved some soil and pushed a wheelbarrow around the garden. Today, I am walking around stick free . If I’ve sat down for a while and get a little stiff I use a stick for a few minutes. I drove my car 8 days after the op!! Going to give the weekly shop a go tomorrow and see how I do on a full circuit of Tescos.
I have no bruising at all which is amazing compared to the last hip replacement (same surgeon) and very little or no pain for days now. I’ve got go back to the hospital on Wednesday to have my stitches trimmed, dressing replaced and to see the Physio.
It’s quite remarkable how well I’m doing in such a short time.

That is absolutely tremendous, Pauly. Very, very well done. You're doing much better than just about anyone might have guessed.

    Very well done, my friend.
