NickG to the rescue once again, Paul.
Jon had offered to bring some springs along so we could try a few in it at The Bash. Which was mighty good of him. But I'd have struggled for guides on the day and didn't really fancy eating into valuable nattering time on a Bash day. Nick's going to make me some guides to fit the TX spring, so I'm going to go down that avenue.
All won't be lost re that spring.......I have four other 35s. Three modern, hardly used ones and my old, manky war warrior. That old thing currently has a newer, lighter synthetic piston in, larger TP and V-Mach spring and guide set. I also have a leather piston that I bought from CapitalBee. I can fit the old piston in that, which will suit the larger TP and use this spring in it too. I'll then have the V-Mach spring set spare which I'll fit to one of the newer ones once the next round of fettling commences.
