That's why I recommend a vertically split 2 piece low mount. And as shown in my earlier post of my Challenger, it puts the scope where it belongs.
Evidently the mounts I recommend aren't available in UK
Still haven't had any luck on either of the mounts you suggested
But, I did find these vertically split 2p low mounts at Ant Supplies
Hoping they're near enough to work and they're cheap enough to take a punt on at a tenner a pair
