They cost quite a bit but the FX no limit 2 piece mounts are identical so work nicely.

Fit mounts to rifle. Fit scope in mounts while they are down. Undo adjuster screws on both mounts. Lift up rear of scope and lock. Lock front screw. The front mount will follow the rear one which is why it's the last to be tightened up. To adjust undo front and undo rear, make adjustment and then tighten up both mounts.

I use a tapered piece of wood in the mount to raise and hold it in place while I do up the screw.

Hawke do a set of scope shims that are handed and they work well. For the money if they give enough elevation they are a good way to test out the theory.

The scope rings have to be mounted 110mm apart for them to work.
