Now THAT I wouldn't be able to do.
As many of you know, I work in retail. Saturdays and Sundays are normal working days for us and, indeed, are our busiest times. We struggle to book time off at weekends. I was able to book the day off for this one and for upcoming Bash events as we had the dates for the events months ago and the Manager at work was able to build these into this year's rota seamlessly.
If you plan such an event and there are enough takers, I'll more than happily help out with any planning etc., and will help keeping the thread bumped along to keep it prominent. Zeb likes a good bouncy BOING!
I'm up for the odd weekday session, though. Even if it was a handful or so of us picking a date and booking lanes individually. I received my February rota on Sunday - it looks like I'll be having Mondays and Tuesdays off instead of my usual Tuesdays / Wednesdays. I'm not sure if that'll be a regular or temporary thing. The range is closed on a Tuesday.
As said, any help needed getting it off the ground / boinging the thread; no problem.
And I do think going for the two later sessions and half the number of lanes as CONFIRMED attendees is the way to go.![]()
